Emilya is an awesome actress. She can sing well, too. I am starting to think she might be a good friend.

It is finally the weekend again. I am going to Ashley's house again. Mom said I shouldn't spend so much time away from home. I want to spend time away because that is the only way to get away from my siblings. I have to younger sisters, Karen is ten and Leah is eight. My older brother, Marcus is fifteen. They all tease me about being a Christian. They ask how I can believe in something I can't see, feel, or hear. I don't know how I can, but I do.

Emilya asked me over to her house. I told her yes. I want to be friends with Emilya. She is nice.

I went Emilya's house today. I found out she's a Christian, too. Emilya has a younger sister and brother. She moved here  from Lansing, MI. We live in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Emilya seems like a good friend.

Emilya invited me to her youth group tonight. I am going to go. I am excited to learn more about God and the Bible. I don't know much even though I'm a Christian. I have only been to church a few times with my aunt Aleena. I am glad I am friends with Emilya.

I had a great time at youth group last night. All the girls I met seemed nice (I didn't meet any boys). Emilya introduced me to her small group leader. Her name is May. May told me if I ever needed someone to talk to, I could talk to her. I do need someone to talk to at times. I like May.

Maxine is now Miss Mean Queen. When I told her about Wednesday night she said, "Great, another church brat. Good-bye friendship, good-bye good times."  I am NOT a church brat, no matter what Maxine says. When I told Ashley she said that it sounded like fun. Maybe I'll ask her to come if I keep going. 

Poor Calli! What is she going to do? You'll have to come back later to find out!

Hi, there world! Today we have the first post of The Journal of Callista Violet James, the all new story series! Come and explore the world of Callista!  The Journal of Callista Violet James January 1 2017   I don't know why my parents gave me this stupid journal. They said it would do me good to write down my thoughts on paper. Well my thoughts are I'm not the type of girl who writes down her mushy boyfriend dreams in her diary.
